Our U-16 girls Premier team, Redland Extreme has completed their fall league season in the Premiership Division of the Philadelphia Girls Area Soccer League holding the top of the standings with 7 wins--- 0 losses--- 2 ties--- for a 23 point total. The Extreme scored 37 goals, had 7 goals against for a 30 goal differential.
The girls now prepare for their next challenge as they will be playing in one of region's top College Showcase/tournaments, The Bethesda Thanksgiving tournament at one of the finest facilities in the country, the Maryland Soccerplex, in Germantown, MD.

Redland Extreme U16 Girls accepted to WAGS!!!
Our U-16 girls Premier team, Redland Extreme ranked 5th in PA East and 14th in USYS Region 1 will be competing in one of the most prestigious tournaments in the Nation, WAGS (currently ranked 10th in the nation by gotsoccer.com).
The Extreme will be playing with teams from across the country as far away as Illinois, the fields and competition are some of the best in our region/country with many state champions/finalists after the selection process is completed.
In the U-16 to U-19 age brackets, the format is designed to host college coaches as they can attend games in one venue and provide the ability to scout future recruits, last year around 100 coaches made themselves available to players.

| Redland Extreme U16 Girls, Dulles National Soccer Tournament Finalists - Monday, September 24, 2007Redland Extreme, Dulles National Soccer Tournament Finalists
Our U-16 Redland Extreme girls team traveled to Virginia and played the weekend of August 25-26 at the Dulles National Soccer Tournament against some highly competitive opponents to advance into the Final match; in the preliminary round, the girls played Loudoun Soccer 91 Red from Virginia losing to them 3-0; their second game they matched up against PWSI Courage 91 Red again from Virginia, winning 7-2.
The girls were to play against the 2nd place team in opposite bracket, Loudoun Soccer 92 Red. The Extreme won a hard fought match 3-1 to advance to the Final game against the team they lost to in their preliminary game, Loudoun Soccer 91 Red.
The girls played very skillful and competitive game but came up on the losing end, 2-1.

| Redland Extreme U16 Girls, Hershey Attack Invitational Semi-Finalists - Monday, September 24, 2007Our U-16 Redland Extreme girl’s team played in the highly ranked Hershey Attack Invitational the weekend of September 1st and 2nd. In the preliminary round, the girls played SYC Galaxy winning 2-1, in their second game they matched up against Rising Star Ambush, winning 4-0.
The girl’s next game was against a tough team, McLean Dragons, and the girls came up short losing 1-0, eliminating the team's chance of playing Hershey Attack who also had a rough time with McLean losing 4-1 in the final. The girls then played a consolation game beating LDC United Lynx by a score of 5-1 to earn recognition as a semi-finalist to end their weekend.

| Redland Extreme, SAC United Premier Summer Shoot-Out Champions - Wednesday, August 29, 2007Our U-16 Redland Extreme girls team played the weekend of August 11-12 at the SAC United Premier Summer Shoot-Out against some highly competitive opponents to advance into the Final match; in the preliminary round, the girls played Severna Park Rage from Maryland beating them 4-0; their second game they matched up against Crofton Athletic Council Wolves again from Maryland, winning 4-1 to advance to the semi-final game the next day.
Sunday morning awaiting the Extreme was the SAC/HC United Classic team from the Host Club. In a game of domination on the field, the Extreme won 3-0. This put the Extreme into the finals against the SAC Fury Premier. In a back and forth game, the Extreme scored in the final 3 minutes of the game only to have SAC Fury Premier score with less than 90 seconds left in the game to tie the game and forced the teams to decide the winner with penalty kicks. Both teams made it nerve-wrecking, finally with the 6th shooter won it for the Extreme.

| Redland Extreme, Columbia Invitational Finalists! - Tuesday, May 29, 2007
Our U-15 Redland Extreme girls team played over Memorial Day weekend against some highly ranked opponents to advance into the Final match; in the preliminary round, the girls played Calvert SA Hornets (2006 MD State Champs) beating them 2-1; their second game they matched up against FC Frederick Premier winning 2-1 to advance to a semi-final game the next day.
Sunday morning awaiting the Extreme was the current PA West State Champs, Beadling Inferno, in a back and forth game of possession reflected on the score board, this game ended in regulation with a 2-2 draw; penalty kicks had to determine a winner, both teams made it nerve-wrecking, finally with the 8th shooter advancing the Extreme into Monday's final game.
Monday's match was another hard fought battle, playing the 9th ranked team in Region 1, SAC United Premier, both teams stuck to their tactical and technical plans finishing the game with a 0-0 tie in regulation time, again the Extreme had to be tested in penalty kicks and unfortunately lost this contest.
Next for the Extreme, State Cup competition that begins June 3, their first challenge is one of the top seeds PA Classics Elite, good luck girls!

| Redland Extreme U15 Girls EPYSA Indoor Cup Champions - Monday, March 05, 2007
Our club's U-15 girls Premier team played in the Aspiring.com competition, the highest/most competitive level that EPYSA will offer. Teams playing in this level are typically those that play in the National Championship Series (NCS), attend the more competitive tournaments, and generally look for the highest competition. The Extreme went undefeated for the day; in the elimination round, beat Western Lehigh 3-2, Casa Capa 6-0, FC Revolution 4-1. In the Semi-final game, beat Rising Star 4-2, one of our local competitors and faced in the Final a strong team in Vincent United to culminate the day as Champions with another win 3-1.
Next for the Extreme, Baltimore March Madness, where they will face some top Region 1 teams. Good Luck girls!

| Redland Extreme U-15 girls win the 2007 President’s Day Freedom Indoor Cup - Tuesday, February 20, 2007
The Discovery Sports Center hosted the 2007 President’s Day Freedom Cup, a girl’s premier indoor soccer tournament featuring the top teams in the area. The tournament was held on President’s Day, Monday February 19. The Redland Extreme U-15 girls won in the championship game against the Bethesda Freedom 5-0. In preliminary play, the Extreme beat, Potomac Storm 7-2, Freestate Inferno 7-0 and lost to the same Bethesda Freedom 3-0.
Next for the Extreme the EPYSA Indoor State Cup on March 3, 2007 at the Wyoming Valley Sports Dome.

| Redland Extreme U15 Girls 2007 Leagues United Indoor Cup Champions - Monday, February 05, 2007
US CLUB Soccer thru their local affiliate, Leagues United of Eastern Pennsylvania, held their annual State Indoor Cup competition for girls U-15 at the Far Post in Oaks, PA, on February 3, 2007.
The Redland Extreme U-15 girls won in the championship game in overtime beating the West Chester Predators 4-3; in preliminary play, the Extreme beat, CASA CAPA 5-0, Berks Soccer Academy 6-2 and Pearls SC, 1-0, before advancing to the final.
Next for the Extreme the EPYSA Indoor State Cup on March 3, 2007 at the Wyoming Valley Sports Dome.

| Redland Extreme U-15 girls team participated in the Orange Classic - Tuesday, January 02, 2007

The Redland Extreme U-15 girls team coached by Carlos Mendoza, participated in the Orange Classic over the Christmas Holidays (December 27th thru December 30th) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This tournament had teams from 22 states in the US, as well as teams from Holland, Belgium, Colombia, and Canada.
The girls started their preliminary play with a 1-1 tie against a very skilled team from Connecticut, Yankee United Glory on Wednesday morning. The girls completed their second game on Thursday under the lights with a 5-0 win against a overmatched team from New York, Hicksville Liberty. The girls played their third game on Friday afternoon, against the Club hosting the tournament, Weston Fury. and the girls completed their preliminary play with a 2-0 win and advanced to the semi-finals.
On Saturday morning, the girls lost a heartbreaker in the semi-finals to a very tough and skilled team from New York, Rochester Jr. Rhinos Elite, 1-0.
Congratulations...The girls should be proud on how well they played represented the Redland Soccer Club. |

| Redland Extreme U15 Girls win Hempfield Fall Classic - Thursday, November 23, 2006 The Redland Extreme U-15 girls team participated in the Hempfield Fall Classic the weekend of November 18-19. The Extreme completed their weekend as the tournament Champions with a 3-0 win vs York United Storm. The girls had preliminary play beating Pittsburgh Strikers Panthers (5-0), Richmond Kickers Elite (6-0), and Parkville United 92 (3-0). The Extreme did not give up a goal all weekend.
